We had seen this part of Khao Lak 9 yrs ago so already liked the location and enjoyed the absence of nightclubs, fleshpots and bustle. Our visit was mid-June and thus the beginning of the wet season with some days rainy and windy. The beachfront access was a bonus. The beach out the front of the resort is sandy and swimable although our time of year meant the surf was rough for three days out of 9. Not really dangerous for experienced adults but no good for the unwary. A 10-15mins walk along the beach to the south brings more aesthetically pleasing beaches with large casuarinas and no people. Breakfast was good Asian resort buffet standard with fresh fruit, egg station, noodle soup station, cold cuts, cereals and congee plus hot bain-marie thai offerings of pad see ew, basil and pepper fish fillets etc. Coffee OK for an Australian. The resort was clean and well-maintained for the most part. There were enough nearby restaurants despite closures due to the off-season. Motor bikes to hire within 50m and shops for tonic and beer.

The hotel has 5 pools, all of them have their charm. We stayed first in the back of the property, really quiet and rooms were perfect and clean. We managed to extend our trip and had to get the more expensive room - we got a free upgrade to direct entrance to the pool. Although the hotel was sold out you wouldn’t notice it at the pool (only at the sun-loungers in front of the beach, cause all the elderly people reserved them early at the morning). The rooms at front with see view are a bit wore down (and had loads of mosquitoes), less clean and the price is not worth it. Maybe for families with babies who still nap? The hotel offered some activities for an extra price for children, they had a playing area for free. The staff doesn’t speak very well English but all of them were respectful and nice to us. The food at the restaurant was also really good. The location of the hotel is perfect! Close to the town with a new built market and the khao lak market

Amazing place with exceptional gardens and pools, we had a pool access room in block A & was so comfortable, relaxing and peaceful, the beach is at your feet and great for a swim or walk, breakfast you have a vast range of foods, honestly amazing you can’t go wrong with what ever diet you have, lunch and dinner, well tasty menu, we recommend having the seafood bucket or seafood buffet, prices are good and freshness and quality is great with many other options to eat, staff are extremely friendly and helpful and will help with anything you need, room got cleaned daily and a lovely little snack put in your room every night with a small clean provided, this was a great little add, we could be out and come back to room made up again after a night out on the town, can’t wait to come back in the low season again for some awesome relax times.

Le Flora Khao Lak is a favourite! Our second visit in 2 years and have always recommended it to family and friends if they are travelling to that part of Thailand. Le Flora is about 80km north of Phuket International Airport, you are largely among the locals, its not a busy location. There are many restaurant's, small shops and markets in the are in walking distance to the hotel. Hotel is right on the beach and has soooo many pools and bars to enjoy. The restaurant and nightly themes are excellent.

Overall is a high quality standard resort Great location that near to the shops The swimming pool is nice & clean Breakfast was excellent Room is clean, design is good, very user friendly, bathtub & rain shower are good The Pool Bar is good, nice food & good price for happy hour (same price as outside restaurant) Please support the local restaurant, massage as well, as they are going through a hard time now Overall i rate it 10/10 despite continuous rain throughout our journey there
